The Scottish CAMRA Cider and Perry Annual Awards have just been announced and the Gold and Silver winners are both from Dumfries and Stewartry area. Certificates were presented to the winners on 18th August by sub-branch Chairman Trevor Hayward.

Below is a full round up of who won what in the 2018 Scottish Cider and Perry Awards.

Champion Cider of Scotland GOLD - Wallace 1305 from Waulkmill Champion Cider of Scotland SILVER - Red Gauntlet medium/sweet from Andrews Ales Champion Cider of Scotland BRONZE - Thistly Cross Jaggy Thistle.

Champion Perry of Scotland GOLD - Pickled Pete's from Andrews Ales Champion Perry of Scotland SILVER - Mooseheid from Waulkmill

The BLUE BELL INN, ANNAN won the Dumfries and Stewartry Cider Pub of the Year award.
