The result of the CBOS competition held at the Scottish Real Ale Festival on 5th July is as follows:

Gold - Swannay Orkney IPA

Silver - Black Isle Hibernator

Bronze - Orkney Red MacGregor

4th - Kelburn Red Smiddy

Other shortlisted beers were - Strathaven Craigmill Mild, Kelburn Jaguar, Cromarty Red Rocker, Orkney Dark Island, Ayr Rabbie's Porter and Cairngorm Black Gold.
