We had a very successful Meet the Brewer event at Sulwath Brewery in Castle Douglas on 20th November. The event was attended by a number of licensees from the region as well as some members from the Sub-branch. Thanks to all who attended, to Bill Windsor and Keith Bruce for organising plus a big thank you to Allen and Jim Henderson and the Sulwath team for such an enjoyable day.

CAMRA sub-branch member Tom Sawyer commented: ''Just to say that my overall impression was that the visit to Sulwath Brewery was very much worth while. Simply to get together and discuss all things " REAL ALE " has to be good for all involved, especially for the Licencees to meet the Brewer in a relaxed atmosphere. A Brewery tour gives everyone an insight into the process of producing the beer and although for most it won't have been the first time, it's a welcome refresher.''
